I have that same gun/scope setup but in 270 and love it, only have ~100 rounds thru it and never felt the action to be overly tight. My wife has a 243 ruger American that has a tighter action then the t/c. Looking at getting another in 223 or maybe 204

Most new guns are more accurate then the shooter, i would be more concerned with the optics
