    What gun laws do.

In Ca. back when we were having our reps. vote on the 'assault weapons' measure I called my guys local office to let them know how I felt about it yes/no. This guy had actually advertised in the papers that he wanted to know how we wanted him to vote. Naturally, I didn't get to talk to him...

    What worries you about guns?

Biggest worry? Having to move to Montana someday just so I can exercise my last days as a free American. Jim

Need a good full power 357 load with Accurate #9

I like 2400 for 357. And of course, bullseye is a great all-round power. Jim

    Rifle/reload info for 30-06

Anyone care to give me they're experience with cast lead bullets for 30-06? Max fps you've been able to load to plus where you are buying your lead. I'm putting this through a 40-xb remington with 1-10 twist. Thanks, Jim

    Quick release scope rings

As much as I like this feature, it seems every time I mount the scope for a new round of shooting I have to readjust the darn thing. Jim

    22mag gets little respect

Anyone else here think the 22mag deserves more respect? Though I wouldn't go so far as to call it a self-defence cartridge, it certainly can fill alot of shooting purposes. Jim

.40 "Short & Weak" or "Short & Wimpy"...does this nickname make any sense anymore??!!

Between a 40sw and a 10mm I'd say if you are capable of reloading, a 10mm would be the way to go. Because of its ability to load heavier bullets and your ability to measure your powder loads down or up with bullets ranging from 155grn to 200grn. Those Hornaday XTP bullets are quite well suited...

The best price for 45acp and 9mm bullets right now?

That kead bullet is probably the cheapest in the U.S. Jacketed bullets are going to be tough to find for cheap. Midway does have a special on certain bullets from time to time. I' bought some 200grn 45 swc's from cheycast for 75 bucks a thousand just recently. Oregon trail 'lazercast' bullets...
