Age: 61 for a few more months.
Though I occasionally carry a revolver (Smith & Wesson 3" Model 29-4 or Model 58), my regular EDC is a Heckler & Koch P30L V1 .40 S&W.
I love the .480 Ruger with its relatively low pressure. It's one hell of a lot more pleasant to shoot the high pressure rounds like, for instance, the .454 Casull.
It's a real shame it isn't more popular because it deserves to be, in my book.
That original run consisted of 500 revolvers. In 1989, they made another 2532 of them, this time as Model 29-4's dubbed 3" Specials (product code 101251). They were shipped wearing Pachmayr SN-GR rubber grips rather than combats.

BTW, the .38/.357 snubbies that have been posted are only "large bore" in the alternate universe their owners must be living in; they aren't in this one.
This is like complaining your duck boat won't hang with the cigarette boats plying the bay.
If you use these revolvers for their intended/anticipated purpose (carried a lot, shot little), they will serve you well for many years.
