Lew Horton"s huh? S&W made those grips. They were used on some Lew Horton models but Lew Horton had nothing top do with the grips.
 
I still can't believe I was dumb enough to give away maybe 3 or 4 sets of those back in the 80s/90s when S&W put them on so many new round butts. I hated them. On a hot day when your hands are sweating those grips are like trying to hold on to a really pissed off greased hog. I love nice wood grips but give me checkering or give me neoprene. I cannot believe what people are paying for those on Ebay. Oh well.:scrutiny:
 
Great looking grips on an even greater looking gun! Congrats on the acquisition.
