I try to shoot with both eyes open now and then but it seems like the sight picture gets blurry. I do a lot better with dominant eye only. It might be a personal thing but I'd be interested to know how others do it.

Thanks for the responses. The DW 1911 is what I'm looking at, trying to decide between that and Kimber for the most part, looking for high quality at a reasonable price. Of course, still considering S&W and Colt, and others too. Too many choices!
I'm just curious if anyone had opinions on how the purchase of Dan Wesson by CZ in 2005 affect quality. Did quality improve? Stay the same? Get worse? Any benefits to getting a pre-CZ model as opposed to a post-CZ model? Thanks.
When using a 9mm conversion barrel in an XDM, what mags do you use? Do XD9 mags fit and function properly? Does the slide still lock back after the last round?
I have trouble getting into all the tight spots on the frame of my M&P9. Can this stuff just be sprayed on all the internals then blown off with compressed air or do you have to wipe it off? If you have to wipe it off, it doesnt seem all that much better than solvent.
