Hey guys so I bought a Kimber Adirondack and a leupold vx3-3.5-10x40 well after sighting it in I realized I ran out of adjustment to get the gun hitting bull at 100.... I need to go about 3" right and the scope is maxed out what could be causing this !!! I'm stressing .. After spending over 2200 on a gun and scope and mounts etc .. Mounts are leupolds also if that helps

Take the bases rings and scope completely off the rifle...and start from scratch.
If you are still having issues possibly take the rifle and scope to a gunsmith and have it professionally installed. If it still runs out of adjustment then try the base/ring combo that allows some left to right "windage"

What type of rings and bases? If you're using windage adjustable mounts they are made to correct this. If you're not using windage adjustable mounts the holes are drilled incorrectly on your rifle and you need to use windage adjustable mounts.

Alright guys I'm using leupold rings and bases I don't believe they have any Windage adjustment to them I'm trying to post a pic here but in having some difficulty 2f03ajd.jpg

The rear base appears to be like one that I have. If so, it is adjustable. You loosen the screw on one side and tighten the other side. That centers the scope

And yes, it will throw you off that much at 100 yards. (You don't need to ask)

count the number of clicks from max right to max left. put the crosshairs in the middle of the range (half the clicks over from max right or left). set a target at 25 yards and center your crosshairs on the bull using the windage screw only. take the target back to 100 yards and fine tune with the turret adjustment.
