Guys, i never in my wildest dreams knew what you guys have gone through with load dev. I know now!! The best powder ive found so far is h4350. I am getting 1moa accuracy at 100 yds w/o a sled at 3,600 fps with slight pressure showing. That cci 250 took the pressure curve out of the h100v with that light bullet. I lost a touch of velocity out of the 100v with them but 3,650 is nice! 100 gr nbt 58 gr h4350 is 3,578 avg. 59 gr 100v is 3625 avg with cci 200 is nice too, but primers show look out!

Im fixin to build a 22 that will beat most with 70-80 gr bullets! Will reply later....

Yes, it will be a scorcher. Unless i like what i see, then i will nitride the barrel, and my son will wonder where i got the brass to make it after im gone.

Four posts in 9 minutes with no replays in between??
It could have been edited and all in one post easily in that length of time.

You might start off by telling us with less knowledge what a .22 Hi-Power is??

Are you talking about the 1912 Savage round?
Or something else?

6.5x284?

Those velocities seem pretty warm. Having been down that road myself, I'm not going to try and tell a velocity junkie what to do, just don't expect the barrel to have much of a life span. I've cooked a couple barrels myself, and it really didn't take all that long to do it.
