Best AR10 platform under $2500

For $2500 in a .308 you buy a FAL? OR also at that price go armalite + mags and ammo.

At that price range, you are right into SCAR territory.

Think about it.

My stg58 FAL pointed down range with a max target of 500 meters. Yes I can hit the nra ram at 500 meters iron sights.

Balrog: I have been shooting a Armalite AR-10 T with a 4200 Elite 8-32X40 AO Scope for several years now. And it is just about the best shooting 308 I have ever had. It will shoot under a 1/2 inch at a 100yds using Nosler 150gr Ballistic Tip Bullets and Varget Powder. I have killed Coyotes out past 350 yds with it, with out any problems at all. My Son shoots a DPMS HB AR-10in 308 that shoots just as well, and we both use the same loads. Good Luck To You:

DPMS for me and not $2500.00 either. Then spend the rest on a nice scope.

Under $2500, the MWS owns the stage.

You are not gonna touch a new SCAR for $2500, nor a Larue OBR. I don't know how an FAL can even be considered an answer to the question. When one spends $2500 for an AR10, they are looking for a level of precision that the FAL is not mechanically capable of.

You may want to give this current thread a read if you haven't already. No shortage of very good AR-10 guns out there.
