I had to do some re-arranging and new bench construction in the gun room and in the process I lost the pin and 2 clips that attach the man ram and handle together and the larger rod for my hand primer. So called RCBS, told them what I needed and that I lost the parts and they would not let me pay for them. I tried to explain again that I lost the parts and have no issue with paying for them, NOPE. I have always liked RCBS products and have heard of their outstanding CS, but this is the first time I have used it. Another win for RCBS.

Good service can't be beat for keeping your market. I once wrote Ruger to ask about the cost with shipping for a replacement Ruger Standard (now Mark I) .22 pistol recoil spring assembly.

Their answer was concise and quick. I found that there was nothing inside the reply envelope but a new recoil spring assembly and an invoice saying "N/C" ("No Charge") on the proverbial "bottom line."

Which ultimately increased their other bottom line, I tell you whut.

I no longer call RCBS. Starting having trouble dealing with the self guilt of such nice people paying for stuff I broke. Now I sneak around the Internet and "buy" replacement parts without them knowing about it. RCBS CS is awesome!

LOL, good one !

Don't worry, they know what "return on investment" means.

RCBS is sending me a free replacement rod for my 223 FL die today! The are THE BEST!

I liked when you could call RCBS direct. Now you have to go through a couple of questions and get stuck in a call center to get through to them. I asked the RCBS service agent what the deal was. He explained since they got bought out by CCI's parent company there had been quite a few changes and they have had a lot of customer complaints about them.

The other day I called RCBS about a defective die and after the short interview, I was on hold for seventeen minutes. Although if you wait on hold long enough they have an automated option to call you back. I have never been on hold that long before they were bought out.

I have been a RCBS fan for a long time because of good products and great service. I hope in the future they can keep the status quo. If not there is always Hornady which for the time being is not a corporate conglomerate sub market.

The other day I called about two shell holders I had ripped the rims off (30 carbine) and they sent new ones at NC as well. I asked if they wanted the old ones back or a picture. Not necessary.:)

I broke the priming arm off my Rockchucker (don't ask.) I emailed RCBS asking if I could buy a new arm without the primer tubes.

They mailed me a new primer arm gratis.

I too am starting to feel guilty about calling RCBS. I have called them on 2 occasions and they simply send me the parts that I have needed. I have even told them that the parts were old or given to me and they simply ask for my address.

Yet another, someone gave me a military crimp swage die set but it didn't have the shell holders anymore. Just like others are saying, RCBS wouldn't let me buy them.

Others will hopefully read this thread and see what a stand up vendor they are.

This thread almost makes me want to start reloading again, when I do my bench will be "ALL GREEN."

All my dies(31) are RCBS ,I called wanting new die box stickers as mine were looking rough. They sent me all I need for each caliber and swag as well. Stickers etc.....
