A long time ago, I bought a box of mixed dies off of Ebay. Included in this set was an RCBS set for .357 that I've used ever since. At one point, I broke the decapping pin and didn't have a replacement, so - in keeping with my theory that one should never use the right tool for the job - I found a drill bit that would fit and kept going. This pseudo-solution worked for a few thousand rounds but eventually failed and in failing, it damaged the screw-in rod that holds the decapping pin. My fault entirely (but I could try to blame it on A to Z reloading for going on a few month vacation and making it harder for me to pick up reloading stuff). I should've just paid the few bucks for a new pack of RCBS pins. Oh well, now I'll have to lay out five or six bucks for a new part too.

After searching their website but not finding the part I needed, I emailed RCBS and described the damage, asking them which part I should order. Immediately, they replied and told me I should send them my address and they'd get a replacement part out to me right away. Yesterday I pick up the mail and sure enough, there's the replacement part along with a pack of decapping pins.

Outstanding customer service - and on a set of dies I bought used! I was entirely willing to pay for the replacement cost, but they'd have none of it.

RCBS stands behind their products.

I have had a problem with my Decapping/resizing die for 357 and I sent it back to RCBS and they replaced it free. Great folks.

So far they have replaced 3 decapping rods and sent an extra spacer ring for 38 / 357 dies.
I am very happy with their service.

Yeah, I did something stupid to my TC die and they shipped out the part I needed (retaining screw) and 5 extras, plus some lead shot to go between the screw and the threads on the die. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm sure it'll be here soon. RCBS is excellent.
