Question on Tristar Raptor

I was gifted one of these (not asking for opinions here) but no manual, only the gun. The bolt and bolt release, and the loading gate are all locked up and I can't figure out how to free them. There is a button at the front left of the trigger guard that won't move either. The safety button moves, though.

I'm not a serious shotgunner but it would be good to see this thing functional.... I searched this forum and youtube but haven't found anything related to this situation. Any help out there??

Also looked at the pdf of the manual and didn't see any reference to the button mentioned above, but I think they're related. Many thanks.

The manual is probably on line but have you tried to tear it down? Pull the barrel and forstock. Maybe punch out the reciever pins and remove the trigger group. Someone probably did this and didn't put it back together correctly. I've seen Remington 870s kind of go off the rail and lock up because the follower got sloppy.

It probably goes without saying but is it unloaded?

Like sappyg the first thing I'd do is disassemble.

Email TriStar and tell them it's locked up. They will tell you to send it in. They will have it back to you, fixed, possibly with new parts installed in a week. Free, no charge. That was my experience, anyway.
