A lot of them are important in the sense the makers were early important influential knife makers/manufacturers. The Ruanas are what inspired the early famous makers like Randall and Loveless.

The brass back bowies are reminiscent of the 1938 or '39 accounting of a mythical bowie that became what most people sadly think of when they think of a bowie knife, but at the same time the ivory coffin handle "dirk" and "butcher" bowies are more likely historically correct.

The Marbles Ideal was the inspiration for the WWII USMC Fighting Utility.

Fantastic collection! Knife "D" in the Marbles Ideal knife photo looks very much like my Dad's knife which he gave to me quite a few years ago. There's definitely a bit of a family resemblance with the USAF Survival Knife and the USMC Fighting Knife. Thanks for the link!
