Just finished up some stock work on my new Ruger stainless compact .308 and need to re-install the action. I will torque the action screws to spec, however should I put a little blue loctite on the screws? They came slathered in never seize. Thoughts?

I wouldnt loctite them. Ive never had an issue with stock screws coming loose, but its easy enough to check them from time to time.
The only screws i loctite on rifles are the scope base screws

Thanks.Makes sense. I put blue loctite on my cz 527's action screws because they weren't a super high torque spec. Was boarder line with the Ruger because it calls for 60-80in lb which is pretty solid.
