Savage 10 bolt slop

I just picked up a savage 10 for a project . This is the first Savage I own and was wondering if there is a way to tighten up some of the slack in the bolt then it is worked. I see there are aftermarket bolts available for around $180 but I wouldn’t spend that unless it would improve accuracy (which I don’t think it does?) Any suggestions?

Nothing easy, not that im aware of atleast.

I wouldn't worry if it shot well. It has a floating bolt head to "resolve" minor raceway misalignment.

It it worries you too much, have the raceway trued and go with an oversize bolt from Pacific Tool. And the proper size would be the newly sized raceway dimension -.002"to -.003".
