Splurg and go Red White and Blue, thats beauty and a statement in its self.

I have the lightening bolt from AC/DC's Highway to Hell and an Anarchists A over my heart, and somewhere, next ,Ol' Glory's gonna be around too, permanently :D

I always though AAC's logo with two crossed AR's with cans, under a skull would be an awesome tattoo:

If I ever get any, it will be a Viking sword on the right forearm, and a Dane axe on the left. but since I am the only un-inked one in the family, I will probably stay that way, just to be different.;)

I always liked the American flag with script underneath that said “These colors don’t run”.

Traditional Rose and scroll work as seen on fine English shotguns and double rifles.
Something with a Saint Barbera theme would be appropriate.

Four years in the Navy when only the military were getting tats and never got a single one.

My dad was combat infantry in WW2 and he had a tat on his shoulder. Getting your name and service # was popular because they may not find your dog tags if you were a casualty of artillery. At least that's what he said. I guess if they found your arm they could assume you were KIA. :(

Has no meaning to me today other than making a statement. I see a lot of prison ink on people. I wonder what that means. I'm a loser and everyone needs to know that?

Similarly, a very built full blooded Italian friend of mine has the Italian flag across his chest. Under the flag reads "Try to f*** with this flag"... except it's not censored.

Once we get the last piece done we can finish the snake, and fill in the rest.

Someone asked about cost? He is a federal prison guard (and lisenced tattoo artist) that approached me to trade a sleeve in exchange for an AR build. So I had him purchase his own lower, and then built it out for him.

As an octogenarian I can assure you that if you manage to live that long there will be cares you will have about things you did when forty. Thankfully tatoos aren't one of mine.
It was made in reference to tattoos. I have established myself in my career in a very limited field to where I am sought out. I have made the choice for my tattoo placement, where they can be covered by dress shirt and slacks should the need arise. No neck/hands/face etc.

We have a sheepdog one in mind, but it's a huge piece. Would be calf, thigh, or even back. Sheepdog overwatching flock, with kids named cleverly hidden in wool of sheep.

That's an awesome idea. Would like to see that.

I've been trying to iron out an idea for a chest piece. So far I have tossed around a home window looking to the outside with wolves outside at night, mostly just outlines of wolves in the shadows and darkness with one up closer that will be detailed out and on the inside will be a sheepdog with his arms crossed watching out the window with a 1911 in an OWB holster. Not sure what yet, but something 2nd Ammendment related written on the holster or slide (if exposed) etc.

It's sounds like a lot but will mainly just be the sheepdog with a 1911 and holster, a simple window and a portion of wall, and a wolf that's detailed. Most of the wolves will be shaded outlines so it's not too crazy I don't think. Maybe it is too much, but im still in the thought process.

An M1 Garand would fit pretty well facing opposite and under of the M16 you have. If your into that sort of thing.

I'm only 50 and I already don't care! The biggest difference between people with ink and those without- those with ink don't care if you don't have any. With all due respect, its a different time. Tats are barely even noticed any more (I mostly live in Fl, so people's ink has more "exposure" here than most other places). Its kind of weird seeing people under 40 that don't have at least 1 nowadays. It seems like it has become no more "unusual" than things like breast augmentation.

Personally I don't care how many tats one gets or if they are covered up when working or not. It's your skin, not mine, and if you want 'em, get' em. What I was referring to is they won't look exactly great after you have them for forty years or so. I worked with several WW II vets that had tats and every one was just blobs of different colors after forty years.

Hey, I wonder what one will look like with a skin cancer or two removed from it?

Since this is not exactly firearms related I going to drop out on the subject.
