Tattoo Ideas Needed!!

Okay, I'm going to chime in again from a Military Perspective. Yup, I've got a limited amount of ink. Other than the information found on a Government Issued Dog Tag tattooed on my rib-cage. (just to let the folks back home know I'm probably not coming back) It is prudent to limit your ink to things/experiences that you wore upon your chest.

Examples: USN, AST, BUDS, JEST, SERE, DWEST, SNIPER, etc... So the theme inked on my body is one of successfully completed Military Training Courses. Yet all those years can be accurately displayed on nothing more than a Triceps. Tombstones depicting the lives and times of loved ones are also special. But if you actually want to dedicate a part of your body to the 2A, anything other than the actual verbiage of the 2A is artistic license and displays a lack of disciple in My Opinion. YMMV.

Your body, your ink. Why one would ask the opinions of others about such a personnel choice is beyond me. Kinda the whole idea of tattoos is making your body the canvas to express your own choices in life. JMTCs.

There is only a limited space, and so much of life that could be honored. Choose Wisely. JMHO.

Mot45acp, you have the opportunity to invest your body with any artwork that you deem worthy. But is the full sleeve that you erroneously dedicated to a simple and resolute cause more important than all the lives of your family members past, present, or future? Words on parchment are not as resolute as family members willing to sacrifice your lineage to uphold those simple words written on a piece of parchment? Words are words, Ideas are Ideas, Folks willing to make the ultimate sacrifice IAW (In Accordance With) the words written and Ideas penned; how much of your Pedigree are you willing to expend on such concepts?

Look your Great Grandchildren in the eye and explain to them that they are not worth the ink on your full sleeve tattoo, and I'm honestly going to talk to you.

A pipe gives a wise man something to ponder over, and a fool something to stick in his mouth.
Never argue with a fool, folks may not be able to tell the difference.

It's your body, it's only you that has to live with it's foolishness, but a fools folly is still perceived as a foolish when most folks can't perceive the concept!

JMHO.
