I just ordered a S&w model 10 from buds. A French police trade in for $269.00 Has anyone seen one of these? I'm hoping for a carried much, fired rarely example.
I just looked but couldn't find them. Just be sold out already.
If it's French, it was probably never fired and only dropped once.
That is not a bad looking revolver, especially for the price.Bud's still got them.

I bought one, ended up looking like this. Haven't shot it yet so can't speak for that, but it came into a pretty similar condition to what Bud's advertised.
Mosin Bubba, what kind of a grip is on that revolver?
Mosin Bubba,
What is the dash number on yours? It looks like it has a heavy barrel.
Thanks

I agree, those grips have to go but I'm betting they will be very comfortable when shooting.
The Police in France have guns? I thought they just blew whistles at people......
Sadly, the influx of radicalized anti-western folks have made them much more openly armed than you would think. Gendarmes and soldiers are regularly posted 4-deep openly slinging rifles and sub guns at most public events and tourist-target zones.
I was there in the spring just before 9/11. Driving through a toll plaza somewhere near Marseilles the Gendarmerie stopped every car... One officer in front, another behind, both armed with subguns. A simple passport check and general look over, but it was clear they were not messing around. Sorry about this off-topic post, just had to respond from the memory of it.Looks like they figured it out but way too late.....
Mine should be here Tuesday. Hope it's as nice as the one Bubba got.
