I have my 10/22 up on armslist. I'm really just looking to sell, but I got an offer to trade for an
ATI GSG 1911 22lr with two mags. I know nothing about these. I eventually want a 22LR pistol, but I was thinking of an SR-22 or an M&P 22 just because I've shot them before and like them. Is this something I should entertain. Would this be a fair and even trade? How hard is it to get extra mags for these? I appreciate any advice y'all have for me.

They are going for about $230 new. Mags about $20 https://gunmagwarehouse.com/ati-german-sport-guns-gsg-m-1911-22-lr-10-round-magazine.html
I had one, lots of fun, very accurate, no issues mechanically. Cosmetically, the finish is not durable. I ended up bead-blasting the paint off mine to end up with a very attractive 2-tone grey underneath. I sold it to afford my AR build. If I could justify the use for another .22 pistol, it would be at the top of my list.

Those are the same as the sig 1911 22 and probably the best 1911 22 you can buy. Personally I would probably do it

I like it. I have a Ciener .22 conversion kit but the steel frame and aluminum slide always felt a little funny. The GSG is the same size as a real 1911 but it’s lighter. Better balanced than the conversion kit.

It makes a good suppressor host; quieter than my Ruger 22/45.

The GSG M1911-22 is one of the most enjoyable firearms in my collection. The patented magazine is probably the best .22LR 1911 magazine out there. It is a joy to shoot and very reliable when firing High Velocity .22LR. Mine are especially fond of CCI Mini Mags and Federal Auto Match. New, the pistol costs just a hair more than a new basic Ruger 10/22 rifle.

... and my new Favorite.

I have one, and have several hundred rounds through it. It is at least as accurate as I am, probably more so, and has been pretty reliable. I haven't been shooting a lot of .22 the last couple of years, or I would probably have more rounds through it. I bought it for cheap practice back when I carried a Hi-Power, since it's pretty similar.
