The local WM store went through a redesign and the firearms area is set up differently now. Used to have a counter in a circle shape that had scopes and high end stuff you could get up close to with rotating long gun displays on it. A wall lined with glass front cases for the ammo. Now it is a J shaped area with all the firearms, high end stuff and ammo on the wall behind glass about 10 feet behind my side of the counter. Try reading those prices now! So no sales rep to be seen anywhere after a brief search. Want to look at what type of .22 Mag ammo they have so I walk down the isle into the area slightly behind the counter and look at the ammo on the wall behind. Within a minute an employee shows up and tells me I am in a restricted area and to move out of there. I ask her to help me and she states she is from another dept and I need to wait for the cashier to come back. Took about 10 minutes for the department employee to return. At least I will not have to go looking for an employee anymore I just need to go back and look at the ammo and someone will show up soon. Are the other stores where you are set up this way now. It seems kind of customer unfriendly don'tcha think. I just don't get it. No signs to keep out of area or anything to stop me. I might ask them if they will set up a spotting scope on the counter so I can read prices and ammo box descriptions from afar now. Rant over.
