7.62x39 Pistol WOW!!!

I've yet to upgrade to a modern 7.62 rifle. Still shooting Wolf Military Classic JHP out of a Yugo SKS and getting 2-2.5 moa from a seated position. Prone is another story entirely. One of these days I'm going to spring for some good hunting ammunition to see how that does.

You got that right! They fit on a milspec buffer tube, feel like a stock with just a little shorter LOP, awesome!!

Very nice. I really like this Ruger and its on my not so short list of guns I want to get.

I was planning (hopefully) of getting a budget AR this year, but I wonder if I should get this instead

Edit: I also had an SKS that was ok but never did a lot for me

I like bolt guns as much as the next guy, but I'd keep the timing in mind. I don't think ARs are going to stay cheap forever, maybe another year or so, but at some point prices will probably start to get off the floor.
