What special tool is in your gun room?

A good solid handloading bench, a good solid gun repair bench, lots of well constructed wall storage, good lighting.
 
I forgot about one of my most used accessories. I have a filing cabinet that I keep targets in. Fresh targets, and used targets. The used targets are filed under the gun I used to shoot them. Notes are kept on the target such as custom loads, poa, etc.
You'd be surprised how many times I have referred back to them for forgotten load info .
 
- Bench vise with drop in leather-faced 3/4" plywood jaws.
- Articulated work lamp.
- Soft face hammer with rubber and hard plastic tips.
- 8 ounce ball peen hammer and pin punch set.
- Brass tipped hammer.
- Anvil plate of some sort.
- Gunsmith screwdrivers set.
- Files and needle files set.
- India and hard Arkansas slip stones.
- Dremel tool.
- Good quality dial caliper.
- Visor magnifier.
- 1" belt sander (Lee Valley with a 1/4 HP furnace motor)
- Buffing wheel.
- Respirator and filters.
- Emery cloth sheets and emery rolls.
- Masking tape.
 
A Lyman case trimmer--a motor built into their standard trimmer----i have had it about 40 years---still works like new. I don't see it in their catalog anymore--guess it got too expensive.
