Hi.
I recently came into possession of a Sherry/Auto Nine .22lr, and I am trying to figure out how to assemble the various components into the breach insert block. When I got it, it was missing the extractor/plunger/spring and the ejector and spring. I managed to get the part from the recently reopened Wilkinson Arms, but I am having trouble with the assembly.
Mine is an original Parma, Id Sherry with the 12 o'clock extractor. I'm not sure, however, and despite the manufacturer's reassurance, if these are the correct parts I purchased, or if I am just totally missing some obvious procedure here.
These are the issues I am having.
The ejector has an obvious notch for a locking pin of some sort, but I'm told I have all the parts in hand.
The small spring which looks like it should fit over the narrow end of the plunger, doesn't.
I'm not sure whether the spring and plunger fit into the opening behind the extractor (in line with the insert) or in the vertical channel between the extractor's rear leg and the ejector.
This is getting a bit frustrating, and while the manufacturer sells the manual as well, I got this with the intention of reselling it once completed, and I am on the edge of losing out of the resale. So I don't want to take more time waiting for the manual to ship.
Thanks,
Robert.
