Buffalo bore, double tap, underwood hunting ammo?

I'm hunting with 3006 and 223/556

Having no info, I will say that normally I prefer Underwood.

But there aren't many options in -06 as BuffBore so I voted that.

Those companies use other company's components and load it to their own recipes. At least with most of the bottle neck hunting rounds. So pick which bullet you like most.

Now, their magnum pistol and thumper cartridges are a different story...

Buffalo Bore is premium ammo. While I have used all of the above extensively, Buffalo Bore is my preference.

If your shooting deer and hogs then regular ol Corelokts and Power Points will be fine.

Winchester has a nice 62 gr Power Point load in .223 that would work on piggies as well as deer.

So what is your question? But some comments.

I've used both Buffalo Bore and Double Tap hot loaded, heavy for caliber, hardcast ammo in handgun loads where I feel the need for all the performance I can get. But there is nothing in North America that I'd not hunt with my 30-06 and my handloads using better bullets. Premium ammo might help 223 be a little more effective on deer size game. And I have no issue using 223 on deer size game with appropriate ammo. But nothing bigger than deer and no bullet is going to change that.

In short I like their handgun ammo. But can't justify the expense for their rifle ammo. There are plenty of other, less expensive loads that will do as well.
