In today's episode of Covid Cabin Fever:

I have 4 AR lowers with cassette type drop in trigger units (1 Rise Armament, 1 Velocity, & 2 Triggertechs) that have set screws to tension them onto the trigger/hammer pins. Because I'm obsessive about this stuff I also utilize KNS anti-rotation/walk pins. Should I use a drop or two of green loctite on those trigger set screws or is that really not necessary?

I wouldn't use green for anything you might EVER have to take apart again, as you won't be able to. Blue would hold for your purposes, and wouldn't hurt anything if you needed to adjust it later.

I think all I've used have 2 set screws per hole. So, the top screw tightens down on the bottom screw, acting like a second nut does to lock. So, I've been confident in the mechanical lock provided by the "set" set screw.

Loctite 290, not 600 series.

Yeah, the Velocity trigger is set up that way. The Triggertech & Rise are not. After doing a bit more research Velocity specifically recommends against loctite.
