Anyone notice delivery delays and shipments miss-routed lately or I'm I just unlucky? Two items I ordered shipped USPS were mistakenly shipped to distribution centers in the wrong state lately. I also ordered some hammer springs from MI that the USPS got May 18th and just arrived at the Detroit dist center last night(26th) at 8pm.

I've noticed delays if packages are moving through COVID hot spots. But nothing serious. I actually sent a gun back to the factory a few weeks ago and it was not a problem.

I online-ordered a book from a vendor in Worcester MA (about 1 hr away from me in southern NH). After about a week it showed up at a USPS distribution center in North Carolina. 3-4 days later it was in Springfield MA, about two inches away from Worcester on any road map. Finally delivered to my mailbox a couple of days after that. I expect it enjoyed the trip; I like NC (got family there).

This happens in the best of times. I use the USPS tracking function, and the routing that they sometimes follow is weird.

I'll second that. Crazy stuff happens with shipping on a somewhat regular basis. I haven't noticed anything unusual lately.

Not here. USPS, Fedex and UPS all deliver stuff to my house (wife LOVES shopping on the Net). Mail is coming a little early as they hired a new delivery guy. Even got a package from Amazon on Memorial Day Monday - hope that USPS employee was clocking double time..............

Yes.
Last week I finally received an item that was in transit for 3 weeks. Tracking - which was intermittent and sometimes contradicting - indicated that the item wandered between 3 different cities in Illinois for about 12 days.

Yesterday I found a government check in my mail - it was addressed to a person living about 2 miles from my address, no numerical or name similarity. I opted to deliver it myself rather than toss it back into the spin cycle.

Personally, I would not ship a firearm via USPS at this time.
