STARLINE brass quality

As others have stated for handgun loads it’s really good brass. I have used 38 special, 357 magnum, 45 acp, 9mm and 9 x 18 mak all with good results. Never used any for rifle.

I have always had good results with Starline straight wall cases and with their .45-70 rifle cases. I usually use their brass cases but have used some .38 special + P nickel cases.

I have used Starline in pistol caliber for years and have recently used it in 6.5 creedmoor. Both in large and small primer pocket for the Creedmoor. I really like Starline brass.
That being said I stopped at their plant a couple years ago in the Semi. Parked in the back parking lot because I had a large piece on equipment on the truck and walked in and took a tour.
Everyone was very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their work. I was the only one who the gentleman took on tour and he didn't try to rush me along but explained everything I asked and I looked in every nook and cranny. Had a wonderful time and was impressed with how they did production from start to finish. This was when they had just started to do the bottleneck rifle cartridges and the annealing process was especially interesting as they had just produced their own machine from scratch to do the job and were really proud of how it was working.
All in all a great company.

Went next door to Sierra as they are only a couple hundred yards apart and they wouldn't give me the time of day. Left a sour taste in my mouth for Sierra. Too bad because I liked some of their bullets. Use Hornady and Speer almost exclusively now.
