Hi Guys,
I have an 80% Lower and the safety selector will not go to safety. The trigger will not disconnect from the hammer as well. I'm not sure if this is a hole issue or burs on the hammer and disconnector. I've attached a video.

Please advise,
Heruk

Have you compared your lower to one that is known to work? Do a Google search and you can find the specs on hole placement

First you need to be able to check to see if your fire control group holes are in the correct location. There is only 0.003" max tolerance on these position. If any of these are out of spec it will cause problems. Also look very closely at what is actually hitting at the safety. If your off center it may not be centered in safety notch (cutout on safety lever to lock the trigger so it can not be pulled). Is there a set screw on the lower for adjusting trigger travel, pre and post, if so back it off.

Sounds like the tail of the trigger is hitting something in the lower that is keeping it from moving far enough to reset. Both problems you are having can be traced to this.

Guys - stop feeding the trolls. Don’t click the video, as I would not want this troll to garner the views.

The video has a polymer lower which looks as though it was hogged out with a hammer and chisel, jb weld splashed on the sides, reportedly to patch the incorrect pin holes, and then the remaining pin holes are hogged out far larger than the pins, such the trigger body nearly slides out of the side. It’s clearly a spoof...

I actually had a similar issue to what is stated with my first 80% that was completed, and it was a polymer lower. I was able to make mine work reliably with a thin shim to keep the selector from moving around, and finally installed an ambidextrous safety which seems to have fixed the issue. I still don’t like it and I haven’t grown much in my trust for that lower. I intend to replace it with an aluminum unit, whether it be a factory completed unit or one I finish out myself. I’m leaning towards a factory unit but I never find one I’m willing to pay for at the same time that I have money I’m willing to let go of.

You have to remember that many people screwup 80% lowers.
I got one in Evidence once that the area below the trigger was just about all cut out. To fix that problem, whoever did it, filled the area with JB Weld and recut it. It looked like homage sin.:barf:
The only advice I would have for someone like the OP is to trash the lower and start over.

Like Gunny said, trash the lower and start over.
And in case this isn't a legitimate question by the OP, thread closed.
