I have the opportunity to purchase a recent production, unfired Ruger Blackhawk Convertible in .45 Colt / .45acp . I do not shoot .45acp and do not see myself doing so. It's an iffy deal with both cylinders. If the acp cylinder could be sold the deal becomes much better obviously and possibly a deal maker.
How much of a market is there for an acp cylinder to someone else that was matched to the frame I'll be keeping ? I'm guessing a potential buyer may have to do some fitting , etc . What's you guess on an approximate value of one that's in like new / unfired condition ?
