I don't know but the artist did have a certain flair with his work. I had never noticed that!I like it, unique one of a kind. Trigger screw on the figure, accident or design.

Not bad at all on either one. I'm not big on plastic fantastics but I could see me doing something like that to one. Different colors though.

Wonder about the technique. Was the design floating on water and the object is submerged to transfer it or is that an airbrush painted coating.

They are one P85 with different work on either side. NO plastic to be found anywhere, lol.

Kinda' hard to tell with that finish. I take back what I said. No way would I subject a nice steel firearm to that.

Like most art today, I don’t get it.
Not my taste but if you like it, rock on.
After spending some hours watching Supernatural aka Stupid-natural on TV, I had a brief inkling towards a bright Chrome or Nickel handgun.
Resisted the temptation for the longest time but did pick up some stainless revolvers.

Can't say I've often heard of Ruger p series referred to as tack drivers often. My P89 certainly wasn't. Big, reliable, heavy, sure.

I’ve always enjoyed seeing stuff like this, even if it’s not my style.
I think guns can, and should, be viewed as “fun”. Of course they need to be respected, but for most of us they’re hobbies and often reflective of our personalities.
Besides, life would be boring if we, and our guns, were all the same.
