I'm not sure if I know what that is?You could get him one of those circular swords, not sure what the point would be though...

Looks like a scottish claymore. I’d love to have gotten one at my wedding instead of the silver coffee/tea set. Probably would have got a lot more use out of it.
Give her a claymore and him a targe.I agree that it should be a joint present to both or a his and hers.
You could still give it to him afterwards as an extra and it shouldn't be a big deal.
Wife's have a way of being right. I'd listen yours before listening to THR in this case.... if you listen to THR, you may give them a smelter.
Careful it doesn't get too edgy Guys...This is a sword pun thread now.

Alright...
A really good buddy (brother from another mother) is getting married.
I want to give a kickass toast that ends with me presenting him a sword.
Thoughts? opinions?
My wife is on the fence, so I figured I'd ask THR LOL

Buying a gift for one, or not for use in the home by both seems like something that may come back to bite you in future relations with her.
And a sword for a wedding gift? I’d listen to your wife. How about a high end carving set from Henckels or Wusthof?
