Hey fellas so not yet out down to about 1500 spp and 2k srp want to load some 9s and 223s but that will leave me in short supply.
I usually buy in person but willing to pay the hazmat if I can find some checked midway, powder valley, midsouth, graf and sons, nothing to be had.
If you got a lead please lemme know.
Thanx

I was just able to pick up small pistol primers, standard and some magnum at my local Bass Pro. Was rather surprised they had them in stock. Plenty of large pistol, no small rifle though. https://reloadingunlimited.com/ has been the only online place I've seen lately that has them in stock. Never done business with them myself. Spoke with one of the smaller local shops around here, says they've been waiting on an order for 3 months now:uhoh:

Midway and some others have email notification. You might try that. The ship sailed the first of the year for shelves full IMO. I have saved the searches on ammoseek for SRP and MSRP. Now I go to favorites and select that custom search. Takes seconds to see if anyone has any in stock.

Natchez and powder valley had Remington small pistol primers in stock each for about 1 hour today. Just have to keep checking.

Last ordered from Powder Valley 2 weeks ago, they had CCI LPP with a 5k limit. Didn't even hesitate on that order. I was down to 600 and had been looking for months.

Today I was in Dallas and found on the shelf and purchased a box of 1k of Federal Gold Match small pistol primers for $47. Never paid that much in my life but I was down to 3k and didn't realize it till this week.

If you are near a Sportsmans Warehouse they are selling primers online with in-store pickup only. 1K limit on individual sales so its kind of stopgap but comforting to know there is a place and I live near a store. They have many types and brands on sale and the prices are great!

Between Hazmat, shipping, and taxes comes to over $55 a box. But if you need them......

Saturday I found a box of 1k Win spp at central Texas BassPro. Box had been opened, one sleeve missing and another had been mangled and dumped. I bought the 8 good sleeves at the terrible price of $4.49ea. I’m dollar cost averaging just in case we look back in a year and $4.49 per 100 is a good price.

Lucked out this morning on Midway and got a box of spp (limited to one), also added a lb of Titegroup just to cost average the hazmat and shipping a little.

Sadly that is the problem when ordering this stuff but as you said at least they have some again. For now if someone is in a tight spot they also have powder again there. You can put some powder with the order to help mitigate the fee until they lift the limit again. Sucks but the powder like the primers, stored properly will outlive the buyer. So get some of both

When I made my order with Powder Valley 5k CCI LPP ended up costing me $37.78 per box. Which is about $5.00 per box more than I usually spend buying locally.

Not sure if this is the place for this. Went looking for something, found this in the back of one safe. I had moved this box multiple times over the years. Forgot what was in it. thought it was something totally different. When I opened it I remember now. Bought these a few panics back. Think maybe when the Grade school shoot up? Anyway I did not need them but was ordering some other stuff with Haz-mat, they had these cheap, so I tossed them on the order. Promptly forgot they were there. So anyone ever use these? I have long used their ammo no problem so guessing no reason not to put these in the rotation when I start rolling some more .45??

I have about 500 left that I'm finishing up in some 45acp loads. Sure wish I could get more. Ran thousands of the Small in my Lee Pro1000 and no problems with primers sticking or flipping.
