WTH is going on with the trigger....anyone?
probably an aftermarket trigger shoe. They typically make a narrow trigger wide, like a target trigger

Looks like a gorgeous M36 square-butt. If the grips are orginal it may even be a pre-36 Chiefs Special. The diamond grips were only used on the earliest examples, and should be serialized to the gun if you take them off and flip them over. Thanks guys. The firearm is not with me. It belongs to my cousin who lives about 100 miles away. It was her late husbands and she contacted me asking if I could help her sell it and a few others. I will publish pictures for your viewing pleasure when I get them.

To be honest I'm not interested in any of them. I have 6 revolvers that satisfy my needs for now. I have my eye on a HK P30 at the moment. If anyone here has an interest PM me.The picture angle really brought out the flare of the grips, they kinda reminded me of bell bottom pants...
Nice stuff all, you won't go wrong if you're able to buy one or more of them.
Stay safe.
