Brownells Retro Colt AR Scope.... Cover

I was disappointed a bit when my Brownells Retro AR Scope arrived. I have several original Colt Scopes and all have a lens cover. I knew that it didn’t have one but thought I could find something. A Butler Creek lens Cover just doesn’t look right on a Retro 601. Called Brownells Tech line and the tech thought may be an ACOG neoprene cover may fit. Took out my ACOG and it fit. A dealer on e-bay had them used in good condition so I picked up a few. Also, I used strips of electrical take on the top and bottom of the hand guard to avoid scratching the finish. I'm looking for one for my Colt HBAR Match Target as I can no longer use the Bob Jones Nat'l Match Peep. How's the one of yours hold zero, Bedford? And the sturdiness of the mount? Best regards, Rod
