So I may find my self camping or spending days in the woods this winter with a black powder revolver. What do you guys do to ensure you’re revolver stays dry and is able to fire while being in a winter climate.
What process would you go through if you were going to be outdoors for a couple of days?
Should I snap some caps, swab the cylinder and barrel and then load it up? Maybe put wax on the caps?
I’ll be using Goex 3f in either a Remington 1858 or an 1851 navy with Remington #10 caps. Thanks.
