I went with the 24 inch American the varmint looks nice but a lil heavy for my spot and stalk deer hunting

And yeah I definitely want one in a 6ARC

527 American, 457 American

Mine dosent shoot fantastically, but it's good. I'm likely to rebarrel to 6ARC, with a slightly heavier profile barrel at some point.

What an awesome combo it will be. Such a flat shooting high energy retaining round in a lightweight handy rifle. I’ll get the recoil with be more than you are expecting so you might want to see about a recoil pad when you get it. The one I owned in .30 Russian Short had some recoil to it.

I’ve got an older 527 I put a heavy 22” barrel on it. It shoots lights out. You’ll enjoy it. I shoot 120 grain Ballistic Tips for hunting and it’s a great combo for southern deer.
