Beautiful range day in the mountains of Virginia, about a stone's throw from WV. Got to run the front end of the Tacoma a bit on the way up, have fun on the 100 yd range, and then a session on the newly finished 500 yd range. We shot 9mm, .45, .22, .22WM, 5.56, .243, .32WS, .308, and 30.06. The 500 yard range is extremely well done, with metal at 2, 3, 4, and 500 yds, and gongs at the 50 yd intervals. We had a ball. I was really satisfied with the Rem 721 30.06 getting metal at 300 yds. Not bad for a 70 year old being shot by a 65 year old! We were graced by the presence of two combat Marines who showed us why they were so good at what they did and why we owe them our everlasting gratitude. Highly recommended for what ails ya. Slept 9 hours straight that night, and hadn't done that in a long time!
