Supplies for all types of reloading are in short supply for a number of reasons. That has put a lot of my normally stocked items into the unobtainable category, and truthfully I should have been better stocked on some things but I wasn’t, and at this point am not well stocked on certain things. The constant notes on my normal items from my normal places that items are out of stock, no back order, no expected in stock date, has pushed me to find new sources, and new products. In the last few weeks I have ordered:

16ga hulls (Primed) from Ballistic Products (I was hoping to find proper length shells for antiques but I gave up)
30 carbine bullets from Bayou Bullet (All other sites showed backorder, BB said in stock)
223 bullets are the next thing to order though I still have a few, looking primarily at RMR.

What have you all done to find stuff? Are you searching places you normally would not consider? Are you stepping away from the comfortable “old reliable” that you normally use? Personally it has been a nice change of pace to step out of the ruts and look at things with a fresh viewpoint. I know people are generally happy with the vendors I have used and so far, I am too. I will wait until I get to actually shoot the stuff before I make comments further than to say that so far, communication has been good and prices are surprisingly in line with “normal”. Bayou shipping by weight range is nice and I assume that to mean that they use flat rate boxes or a similar setup so I can buy more and essentially get free shipping on additional items provided I don’t break the weight threshold.

I had an order of .45 SWC coated from Bayou - fast shipping and great quality.
Ordered some .223 55gr SP from Everglade - again, fast shipping and happy with the quality
.223 55gr FMJBT from RMR - took longer to get, but very happy

Cabellas/bass pro. Over the last several weeks I have scored thousands of 2 types of primers.
