Im set on the shortest barrel 458 ar upper I can get. Im under the impression Tromix is the company to buy from and they offer an 8" version.

This will be used at short distances. As in I'm sure a lot of you are more accurate with a pistol at max range I'm thinking. I am curious though what velocity anyone has on various bullet weights? I've read 300 tsx is popular with this and want to know what range I can expect this bullet to function along with any other info the good people care to give. Thanks

I didnt know where to put this so if it gets moved it gets moved

I have an 8" upper and while I haven't ran any loads across a crono (don't have one yet), I can say it is a very potent little package. Really enjoy shooting it as a pistol (sb3 brace) and on my sbr lower. It'll wake you up, but it's controllable.

Out to about 150. Second shot hit on a clay pigeon at that distance. 350 grn berrys plated bullets. It'll shoot about 2" at 100 as a pistol, but only shot two groups with it before I went back to blowing up water bottles and zucchini....
