I might be addicted to S&W Automatics.

A heavy 9mm that feels like a 22LR when fired.

I went down this path a few years ago. Don't have that many but I got a few.

The 4506 is my favorite. I really enjoy shooting thst big, heavy beast.

Help me... I have a problem...

3914 (with full spur hammer)
3914 DAO (NYPD overrun)
5906
4014 (one of 550 produced- may get 10mm conversion)
4006 CHP (late production with integral frame rail)
4006 TSW (with full spur hammer)
1006 (my first 3rd Gen)
4566 (ex-LEO or security company)

Very nice collection!

For some reason me and SW metal autos don’t get along. And I really, really tried to adjust to them.

The only two I kept are the 745 and 1006 due to some collectibility.

Regardless of my shortcomings, I still think they are cool guns.

Had an assortment of Smith autos before drifting to 1911s. The 745 would cycle empty cases; it was a tank.
The lower bore axis of the 1911 led to the change of heart.
Did snag a NIB 439 recently; they still feel really great in the hand.

I loved the gen 3 guns, but hated when S&W said they would no longer service them even for a fee.

I have to fight the urge to buy a 3rd gen every once in a while. I keep finding well priced 4006's of some type, and I'm not going to buy any .40's again, so I pass on them, but it's hard.

You might have a healthy addiction in you hands and a fine taste on S&W.

SW-semi-model-chart-1.jpg Miami_JBT: Superb collection. My 908, via a GB auction, ships from the seller Monday.

* >>>>>>>>>> GB now has a  "mint condition" 908 Suddenly available (-- ;)now that the more worn 908 I bid for/won is no longer avail.--). <<
$450 "Buy Now", with two OEM mags.

Find the blue "3900" chart here for the 908. On Google images this "S&W 3rd. Gen. chart" can be expanded again.

There also is a nice-looking Israeli turn-in 6904 ( blued d-stack, 9mm), 669s, 3913/3914. Same auction website. Just trying to be helpful.
