5.56 55 grain FMJ BT Go To Load

I'm so "old school" it's stupid!
I shoot iron sights with that big thingy in front on a 20" barrel and big fat hand guard and that handle sticking up in back. My groups are around <3"s at 100, some times much tighter. But I can still ring 8/10" steel at 200 with these 74 year old eyes.

I'm still loading 26.1 grains of W748 under 55 grain FMJBT's!

20.3 grain IMR 4198
23.0 grain IMR 3031
24.5 grain IMR 4064.

All have worked well for me.

But then, I don't claim to be a MOA/sub-MOA shooter.

I'd have to check the cards, but I had good groups with 4198.
