tntreloading.com has 55 gr fmj bt bulk 500 and 1000 bullets in stock now. hornady and winchester. prices are pretty good.

Thanks for the info. I have looked all over the place for 55 fmj's. I thought they had all been sent to the big sandbox!:p

After waiting since October for my Hornady 55gr FMJ's to show from TNT, I finally called (they stopped answering my emails after the second round of "how much longer"). Gentleman says "we haven't had Hornady FMJ's for.... a long time. They never ship them to us."

Couldn't have just said this in the beginning or take the dang price off their sight. Look! It's still there. :)

I called them back in October, and they told me then they had no idea when they would get any in stock.

Funny, an email I received from Tony on 10/16 reads, "We are getting the bullets in within the next 2-weeks.We will ship when we have them."

The next three emails over 2 months went unanswered. Just would have been nice to get the truth off the bat. I ended up ordering 3k 55gr SP from him while I had his attention on the phone two weeks ago. The bullets look nice.

I checked with TNT on last Saturday at the gunshow and they didn't have any Hornady FMJBT.

I did buy from TNT a box of 1000 Remington FMJ for blasting ammo only.

The guy I talked to at the show said that most of the supplies are in short supply.

I’ve been using Berry’s 55gr fmjbt with success. The best part is they don’t do the “lead surcharge” BS with them.

On January 3 I ordered 1000 of Hornady 55gr FMJ-BT from T&T website for $58.95. It confirmed the order and took my credit card. On January 9 I get an e-mail from T&T saying "Sorry the only 22 55 FMJ-BT bulleta available are Armscor at $65.95 a 1000.The new price of the Hornady is $70.95 a 1000.Thank You TONY". I called him and got a line of crap that he hasn't had them for a while, etc. ,etc., but when he did get them they would be $70.95. I explained that I had a confirmed order for $58.95, we argued a bit, he said he was tired of talking about it and hung up. I'd steer clear of T&T.
