I purchased this rifle with a sporterized stock and 30.06 24 inch step barrel. The only thing I believe to be genuine is the action. And not all that is matching numbers, but barrel and bolt action in good shape.
No sites on barrel. Brazilian stamp on top of reciever. Bolt bent down to miss scope, not sure if heated and bent or made that way. has 21900 stamped on it. Safety lever misses scope ok.
3912 stamped on side of reciever. Read somewhere a lot of these were rebuilt after the war. cant seem to find sight again. anyone have any information ?

I would like to see pictures, but I am leaning toward a Brazilian Mauser K 95. These were chambered in 7.57mm Mauser. One of the favorite receivers used by gunsmiths in custom gun builds. They usually replaced the barrel with a .30 caliber machine gun barrel, that had been lathe turned to fit. Your barrel, however, is the original step down Mauser K-95, re-chambered to .30-06.

Check the chamber for the correct cartridge and caliber. Brazil made changes in their Mausers over the years, hence the /34.
