Nice! Update the thread with how heavy the recoil is. I'm super curious about 308 in a pistol, but I cant handle recoil above .44 mags.

Probably be a lot of cheap fun to be had with cast Bullets!

I always wondered about the choice of a 15" barrel. Why not go 16"?

The extra inch is not going to change the way it handles as a pistol, but gives the option of setting it up as a rifle, if one so desires.

I've only been down the Contender rabbit hole for about a year. I'm developing a strong preference for 10-12" barrels. I just got a 14" bull barrel in 6.5JDJ and it's really starting to push the envelope for what I consider a handgun.

I have had 10 inch in 7-30 and 357mag for a few years. I have had and parted with a 44 mag in 16”. That barrel was kinda ridiculous. I just bought a 223ai 14” that may be ridiculous as well but I will wait and see. I’m concerned about weight with such a small bore, but it’s main purpose is as a range toy.
