Great interactive way to compare handguns size etc

Been using it for years..nice app.

That's my go-to when a new gun comes out and I want to see how it measures up to my current stable.

That’s pretty cool. Thanks. I like that you can move the guns around when comparing them to each other. Too bad they don’t have more revolvers to choose from but overall a very cool site.

I found one few years ago that let you compare silhouettes of compact pistols. I am going to have to go look and see if I can find that one again.

The 1911 might be wider at safety, but it is thinner.

After doing some searching I am wondering if Handgun Hero was the site I was thinking of it’s just that they now display images of the guns vs silhouettes of the guns.

Looks like a nice tool, pretty good for ballparking, but doesn't look to be exactly accurate. Here's a Kimber 1911 and a CZ 97B actually overlaid and matched up where the web of your hand wraps around the back of the grip. If you do the same matchup on handgun hero, it shows the 97B grip to be quite a bit longer than it actually is, and it shows the trigger guard to drop down a good bit lower than it actually does.



Likewise, the CZ 75 PCR compared to the HK P2000SK reveals that the scale on handgun hero isn't exactly the same on both pistols. In the photo below they are aligned at the back of the slide where the hammer pivots.
