I missed out yesterday - Primary Arms had a lot of assembled lowers in stock. I only want the M4E1 stripped lower, as I already have a lower parts kit for a pistol i have planned. I am kicking myself, I could have just purchased the complete lower for $300, and sold the lower parts kit for at least $200.

Anyway.. Have any of you been keeping tabs on availability of Aero stuff? I didn't see any M4E1 stripped lowers on Primary Arms yesterday or I would have purchased one. I saw they are moving locations and I'm sure production slowed with COVID. How often do they release inventory?

I've been looking for a stripped gen 2 lower for the past week or two, looks like they've been in and out of stock, when someone gets one in, you have to jump on it pretty quickly.

When I was building my latest M5, I had alerts set up for parts across about 6 different vendors, including AP, PSA, Brownells, Midway, Primary Arms, and others... and, boy howdy, you have to be fast with that keyboard!

Try Palmetto State Armory. They have inventory. I have both PSA and Aero and they meet the same specs.
I ordered a PSA lower on a panic buy, thought I screwed up the order, reordered and ended up with 2 complete lowers.

A couple of weeks ago I got notified by Aero they had stripped lowers in stock. I dawdled about what else to buy, since with just a few dollars more I would get free shipping. Well, I missed my chance, as they went out of stock while I thought about it. I waited a few more days but I wasn't very hopeful they would get back in stock very quickly.

I gave up on Aero and decided to get the PSA lower. The same day I ordered my PSA, the Aero website had stripped lowers again. Since I'd been waiting months for a Aero lower, I jumped on it.

Today I picked up the two lowers from my FFL.

I really don’t think PSA are worth it right now for $100. I have enough lowers to the point where I don’t “need to buy before the ban.” I really like the look of the trigger guard on Aeros and also the fact that I don’t have to take a punch to the trigger guard roll pin.
