Any sources for an uberti 1851 cylinder that is smooth?

All I see have engraving on them. Wanting this for a L&R variant.

Cimarron??
They show a L&R with smooth cylinder but not who makes it for them.

Cimarron is a good place to ask.
Any Uberti distributor is worth inquiring with about the specific item or else you'll never know if they have it or can get it.

Dixie used to sell them as an "off-catalog" item that you would need to call them about. --->>> https://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/threads/uberti-replacement-cylinders.119822/
Even though that was reported as being in stock 10 years ago you never know with them.

Someone else suggested to try VTI, and Taylor's Firearms is also an Uberti distributor.
Trying Beretta customer service may be a last resort.

I own a Leech & Rigdon by Uberti I bought in @1993. It's from Dixie Gun Works. I think I checked year of manufacture once and was surprised it was made in the late 1980s. It has a smooth cylinder. I've noticed modern Uberti L&Rs have the Colt 1851 Navy cylinder - - - - - - they must just engrave all cylinders and use them without regard to Union/Confederate revolver. Not what I would hope for from Uberti.:scrutiny:

I do have Pietta Confederate brass 1851 that ....... heck, I cannot recall which Confederate gun it's a copy of :what: but it does have the correct smooth cylinder. Dang memory pharts .... :cuss:

I have a Pietta L&R, a R&A, and a G&G (factory marketed) I made using two 1851 Navy revolvers and G&G parts. All CNC guns and the parts fit like Legos.

I had my neighbor machinist mill an extra six stop slots w/approaches in an older Pietta spare plain/smooth/non-engraved cylinder with no safety pins so as to be more authentic. Cost of the cylinder was $25 and the machining was $60.
