Bought some auto comp because that’s what was in stock. I don’t have any pistols with compensators but a lot of semi autos. Anything I need to know or just roll em up and smoke em.

I use it on my 9mm without comp’s. It’s very clean!

9mm - 7.5g on a 95gn soft point, doing 1550fps

I bought it years back because I thought AutoComp ment Auto Competition... was new to reloading 9mm, so I just stuck with it,

One of the good things about Auto is a lot of people don't know about it so it is often in stock when
other popular powders are no where to be found. I never even thought about it being for a gun with a
compensator. Overall, great powder. I use it along with Accurate #5 for my 9mm, either one is fine.

I only used a pound of it some time back. It worked well in a variety of handgun cartridges. I wouldn't see it as a bad thing to have a few pounds of it in stock.

Autocomp is good for max power 9/40 loads, and mid-range 357 loads. It delivers good velocities and had plenty of published load data.

Those making 9 Major loads aren't using published load data, and while Hodgdon 100% markets this powder to them, don't expect them to officially recommend loading 7 grains of it into a 9mm behind a 124gr bullet.
