CROSSBOWs ?

I'm fascinated by cross bows. Have not pulled the trigger and bought one yet but borrowed A buddies and was truly impressed.
I see lot of utility for cheap fun, quiet pest control, and a other activity to teach the grand kids the 4 rules.

I have a Center point sniper 370. Took a doe with it in 2019.

My old Barnet i can cock by hand. Not the center point though.

I have a $60 rural king special that does it’s job. Nothing about it especially nice, but also nothing about it is junky (except for the sights, but it came with a scope so they get a pass). It’s loud though, it might need some silencer studs added at some point. It’s a Jaguar brand I think, and it’s a recurve... I would say it’s good for deer to about 40 yards.

I have a Barnett Jackal and a Excalibur Matrix G340...both good bows! Getting the Centerpoint 370 soon! I consider these as a fixed defensive option, where my compounds, recurves, and long bows are for hunting and recon.

I dispatched a opossum that ate some rat poison with a handheld cross bow many moons ago. They are tough little jokers. Would like to get a decent crossbow. Maybe one day.

I bought an Excalibur Bulldog Matrix 360 last year pre-owned. Had a great time getting used to it and am glad I bought it.

That sucker holds 3” groups at 50 yds from a sitting position. Need a updated scope and it would be much nicer.

Got one a couple years ago, have yet to get anything with it. Maybe this next year.....

These things are amazingly fast and accurate.

Ten Point makes very accurate crossbows. I have one.
