CZ-P07

I have it’s bigger brother with the short reset package from cgw. Love it.
I've got the P-09, bought it second hand so I don't know what all has been done to it. It has what I believe to be Dawson sights, fiber optic front and blacked out rear. It's very smooth, I don't know if it's from shooting or if it's had some work done on it. The trigger on that one is a tad over 6# in DA and just under 2# in SA, Hoping this P-07 smooths up that good.

I should have bought both back in 2015 when I lived near an Academy Sports. They were both $379 at the time.

Yeah I got mine for just a bit over $400 out the door, years back.

Ended up trading it for a Glock 19 and was pretty happy with the trade. Which, then tuned into a Sig 245 and eventually a P228.

Which I really like.

It looks like you may have the dreaded CZ acquiring virus. Watch it or it will consume you a step at a time.

This is a real thing.
So far my modest CZ family includes:

CZ-75B
P-07 Suppressor-Ready Urban Grey
CZ-82 (x2)
Scorpion EVO 3
CZ Shadow 2 Urban Grey

I paid $525 new for my P-07 Suppressor-Ready Urban Grey a few years ago, and feel like it was a great deal for a high-quality pistol with very good night sights and a threaded barrel.

This is the version I have:

Not a whole lot more I can add to this thread, except that I was able to put a few mags through a friend’s CZ P07 (w/Cajun Gun Works mods) & all I can say is, WOW!

While I don’t necessarily keep up with polymer-framed 9mms, dollar for dollar, I don’t know that there’s a better pistol out there.

Sure sounds light for factory, bet you money it's been worked on.

That's what I thought.
It's very smooth too
The one thing I don't like is the front sight pushes out when you fire it.
One mag and it's halfway off, either someone didn't get the set screw tight or forgot to put it in.
I need to get a replacement rod for the fiber optic, then see what's going on.
Anybody have any ideas the best way to get that rod out?
Do I just gut it or file the end off or what?
I assume there's no way to salvage it?

Cut it in the middle, pull the pieces out.

anybody carrying there P-07? it’s such a light gun to carry! I keep it on 1/4 cock with safety on. Just like how to like carrying all CZ’s
Yes. The weight is such that the p07 with a flush mag in a shoulder holster is balanced by two 18-round mags on the other side of the shoulder holster. It's a great bicycle rig. Wearing a gun belt and spandex would look silly. When biking around in spandex, looking silly is obviously the #1 concern.

You mean cocked and locked by changing the decocker to a safety? The P-07 to my knowledge can’t have the safety on when decocked in DA/SA.
I believe this was a quirk that showed up when cz went to the 'omega' triggers. I absolutely can flip the safety on when the hammer is on the decock notch. I can't on my cz75.

Spandex and a CZ…. it’s doesn’t even seem abnormal.

No matter which CZ people consider, if a person likes the type of action in a specific type of CZ, they will probably really like the overall ergos.

Within one's own preferences (dimensions/weight also) I don't see how you can go wrong with a CZ :), even an older CZ-82 or 83.
My only Czech guns for now are the PCR (75D) and the superb, imported VZ-58 rifle.:D

And being a Lefty who adjusts to any controls....ahm purdy shore that a Righty can do it also.
