Hey all,

Wondering if anyone has experienced this or has a workaround or another source for a .459" lee sizing bushing & punch. Only source I can find for this part is Lee's site, it's in stock and it just will not let me buy it no matter what I try. Really want to get it but it refuses due to state tax issue or something. Grrrrrr

Any help would be great.

Thanks folks!

I can’t help you with the lee site but I would recommend looking into the push through sizers from NOE molds. I’ve been using Lee sizing dies but I am planning to switch to the NOE dies in the future, as it’s a single die body that you can change out the insets in. What has drawn me to them is they have any size you want while Lee only has the more standard sizes.

This is the breech lock single body design that uses bushings, they also are available in basically any size and fit in my preferred sizing press. I'll look at the noe ones but I'm already invested in the lee system a bit. Tried to contact the sources listed by the error message and can't get anyone by phone , I was then directed to e-mail someone at titan reloading by their store voicemail . I'll wait and hope they respond . frustrating !

I think the frustration really ought to be with the state legislatures for making crazy laws, not Lee Precision for following the crazy laws.

Then again, that's probably why people are fleeing those crazy law states and infesting Florida, Texas and other normally sane states. Those refugees will vote and end up doing the same here as where they left and insanity will spread like a virus but, that's how people are. Them peoples why we can't have nice things. o_O

They try to flee to Seattle Washington, but 8 months of rainy 35-45 degree weather will make them flee to Florida or Texas. ZERO SUN for 8 months!!!

I've ordered from lee direct earlier this year and I live in an even worse county in the same state as you.

If I recall, Titan is just a bit North from you

I've been to titan a few times. Dennis was awesome today, responded to my email in minutes and handled it like a pro, all that for just a $15 piece and he did it anyway. They've earned my loyalty . it is a cruise , I think it's in Hartford or there about, couple hours give or take

I think Lee is tired of dealing with retail customers. They have been heading that way for some years; there was a notice on the website to check distributors for possibly a lower price.

I think that 2 things have happened to push Lee completely out of retail - First, the completely over-the-top shutdowns from the Covid madness, and
Second, the states passing laws requiring sales tax collection even without a physical nexus in the state.

Parenthetically, if anyone here thinks that SCOTUS will rule in accordance with written law, do some research on the ruling that led to the so-called Internet Sales Tax.

I really think that Lee will completely drop retail sales in the near future.
